Booking Policy

Important information about scheduling, payments, and cancellations

This policy forms part of our overall service agreement, together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Booking Policy, and Shipping & Returns Policy.

Booking Process

  • Photography Sessions: Book directly through our online calendar system. In the case of any issue, please communicate via email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Artwork Commissions: Submit an inquiry form with project details
  • All bookings are confirmed via email within 24 hours. In the case of a booking and no communication has been received, please follow up via email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • A consultation may be required for complex projects

Payment Policy

Photography Sessions

  • 50% deposit required to secure booking
  • Remaining balance due at the session
  • Payment accepted via bank transfer, Tikkie or cash

Artwork Commissions

  • 50% deposit required to begin work for custom projects
  • Final payment due upon completion
  • Payment plans available for larger commissions
  • Purchase of art already displayed on the website, to be paid in full before shipping is arranged.

Scheduling & Timing

  • Sessions are scheduled by appointment only
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early for photography sessions
  • Late arrivals may result in shortened session time
  • Artwork timelines are discussed during consultation
  • Rush orders may incur additional fees

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Photography Session

  • 48+ hours notice: Full refund or free rescheduling
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% deposit retained, can reschedule once
  • Less than 24 hours: Full deposit retained
  • No-show: Full session fee charged

Artwork Commissions

  • Before work begins: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
  • Work in progress: Refund based on work completed
  • Completed work: No refunds (custom nature of artwork)

Weather & Circumstances

  • Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to severe weather
  • Indoor alternatives will be offered, only when possible
  • Force majeure events (illness, emergencies) handled case-by-case
  • Client illness within 24 hours: rescheduling without penalty

Delivery & Completion

Photography

  • Edited photos delivered within 2-3 weeks. Wedding photos may take longer, 3-6 weeks.
  • Digital gallery provided for download

Artwork

  • Timeline discussed and agreed upon during consultation
  • Progress updates provided throughout creation
  • Delivery or pickup arranged upon completion

Special Considerations

  • Travel fees may apply for locations outside Bergen op Zoom area
  • Additional editing requests may incur extra charges
  • Copyright and usage rights as outlined in Terms and Conditions
  • Client satisfaction is our priority - concerns addressed promptly

Service Area: No travel cost in Bergen op Zoom and surrounding areas within 15 km. Travelling through the Netherlands is of course possible, however, travel costs will occur at 0,23 p/km.

This Booking Policy is subject to change. Clients will be notified of any significant changes that affect existing bookings.
